The objective of this dissertation project is to develop a robust and accurate spectrophotometric method for the determination of sunset yellow and tartrazine in various beverages. The study aims to establish reliable analytical procedures, including sample preparation, wavelength selection, and calibration curve construction. Additionally, the project seeks to evaluate the concentration levels of these synthetic food colorants in different beverage samples and assess their compliance with acceptable regulatory limits. The findings will contribute to ensuring food safety and quality control in the food and beverage industry, providing valuable insights for manufacturers, regulatory authorities, and consumers.
